Travis Katz

Founder & CEO, Gogobot

Travis Katz is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer behind Gogobot (www.gogobot.com).

Prior to founding Gogobot, Travis spent nearly four years at MySpace as Senior Vice President and General Manager of International. Under Travis’ MySpace expanded its reach to more than 30 countries and grew its traffic more than five-fold to 70 million unique visitors, more than half of the company’s total user base.

Prior to his role with MySpace, Travis spent 3 years with Fox Entertainment working in business and corporate development. While there, he co-authored the company’s digital media strategy, leading to the creation of Fox Interactive Media, News Corp’s digital arm, and the acquisitions of MySpace, IGN and Scout.com, among others. At Fox, he also helped launch two cable channels – Fox College Sports and Fox Reality.

Prior to Fox Entertainment, Travis worked for McKinsey and Co. in their high-tech practice, and spent four years at The World Bank.

Travis received a B.A. from Stanford and an M.B.A. from Wharton School of Business. He lives in Menlo Park, Calif. with his wife and two children.
